Impact Manager arose directly as a result of a project with Defra to help improve sustainable outcomes for procurement activity. The software has been designed to set up a range of KPI’s for organisations procurement or project activities across environmental, social and economic sectors. These are embedded within the procurement process with individual contractors being automatically emailed to provide returns on the impacts as integral part of the contract process. Outcomes are then accumulated and monitored. This allows both a far greater degree of supply chain management and the generation of objective evidence of organisational impact from procurement linked directly to the strategic objectives. In addition the system now also manages internal projects without direct procurement contracts.
